Manchester
Nearby kitchens, one courier, your door.
Manchester-first food delivery. One basket, one courier, the kitchens around you. Phase 1 proves the loop: customer, restaurant, driver, customer.
Restaurants
Put your kitchen on the map.
Butlr sends a ticket when a nearby customer orders. You accept or reject, set prep time, then mark the bag ready. The courier comes to you.
- See incoming orders and accept or reject with a reason.
- Give the customer an ETA once you have started the ticket.
- Mark the order ready so dispatch can send a courier.
- One restaurant per basket for now — we will not split a checkout across kitchens.
Drivers
Jobs around the Northern Quarter.
Go online, take an offered job, collect from the kitchen, and deliver. Payout is the delivery fee minus a platform cut. Stacked deliveries are not in this release.
- Idle online couriers are ranked by distance to the kitchen.
- A job offer times out if you do not accept, then the next courier is tried.
- Pickup and drop-off are tracked for the customer.
- You need the right to work in the UK and a way to move food across central Manchester.
Launch city
Starting in the Northern Quarter.
Butlr is not nationwide yet. We are proving dispatch, prep times and delivery in a tight Manchester radius before we add stacked jobs or multi-restaurant baskets.
- Independent kitchens first — not a national chain catalogue.
- Nearest-available courier dispatch, with live tracking.
- Fees in pence: delivery by distance, a small service fee, restaurant commission.
